Excellence in Medical Care
Dr. Biddulph came to the Fredericksburg area in 1999 and joined a busy senior orthopedic surgeon at the Pratt Clinic. He quickly became one of the busiest surgeons at Mary Washington Hospital and built a strong reputation for providing exceptional and compassionate care. Dr. Biddulph later established a private practice in located in Woodbridge, Virginia. Dr. Biddulph and his staff are now located at a new, state-of-the art medical office in Stafford, Virginia.
Establishing His Practice
In early 2001, Dr. Biddulph and his staff left the Pratt Clinic and soon established a busy private practice in Woodbridge, Virginia. The departure from the multi-specialty clinic allowed for more personalized, timely care for patients.
Dr. Biddulph and his staff moved into the new Ambulatory Services Center building, adjacent to Mary Washington Hospital, on December 24, 2003.
Dr. Biddulph and his staff practiced at this location for nearly twenty years prior to moving to their current location in Stafford, Virginia, in April 2023.
The Early Days
Dr. Biddulph was born and raised in New Jersey and graduated first in his class with a 4.0 average from Rutgers University. He earned his medical degree from Pennsylvania State College of Medicine.
He completed an internship in general surgery at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland where he then worked in the medical acute care clinic prior to being stationed abourd an aircraft carrier out of Norfolk, Virginia. Dr. Biddulph then served as general medical officer onboard USS John F. Kennedy, where he served for three years. He then completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Naval Hospital Portsmouth in Portsmouth, VA.
As a practicing orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Biddulph spent three years at the US Naval Hospital in Naples, Italy, and then a year in Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. Biddulph held the rank of Commander prior to leaving active duty and moving to Fredericksburg.
Affiliations
Dr. Biddulph is licensed to practice medicine in Florida and Virginia. He is also a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of the Virginia Orthopaedic Society, Florida Medical Association, and the Fredericksburg Rotary.

His common office procedures include casting of fractures, injections for tendonitis or other conditions, and use of office fluoroscopy (live X-ray) to evaluate conditions and assist with certain types of injections. The availability of fluoroscopy in the office has proven to be a great benefit for patients and allows an added margin of safety and comfort for many procedures.
