John T. Biddulph, M.D.
Dr. John T. Biddulph is a distinguished orthopedic surgeon who has been providing high-quality medical treatment for patients in Fredericksburg Stafford, Spotsylvania
His specialties include treatments for fractures and reconstructive surgery as well as non-surgical treatments for common orthopedic injuries and conditions. He and his staff have extensive experience working with major employers and workers to help employees recover and return to work swiftly, and they are knowledgeable about the requirements for workers’ compensation insurance.
Licensed to practice medicine in Florida and Virginia, Dr. Biddulph is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, a member of the American Medical Association, Medical Society of Virginia, Fredericksburg Area Medical Society, Virginia Orthopaedic Society, Florida Medical Association, and the Fredericksburg Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Biddulph came to the Fredericksburg area in 1999 and quickly developed a strong reputation for providing knowledgeable and compassionate care as one of the busiest surgeons at Mary Washington Hospital. Before launching his own medical practice 22 years ago, he was affiliated with the Pratt Clinic.
Dr. Biddulph earned his medical degree at Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in 1986 and completed his internship in general surgery at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. Upon his commission, Dr. Biddulph served as
Dr. Biddulph was born and raised in New Jersey and graduated first in his class with a 4.0 average from Rutgers University in 1982. Today he resides in Fredericksburg with his wife, Tracy, and their three children.
Receptionist
Joanne Biddulph greets new patients and arranges for their tests and appointments. She also manages insurance matters and supports other office or patient needs.
In describing her job as being far more than being a receptionist, Joanne says she is far happier working in healthcare and being part of what is truly a family culture, “It’s about people’s lives. I know I have to be accurate and that my work can make a big difference. We are always focused on making sure everything is done properly.”
“I am prayerful for patients when they are going into surgery,” she adds.
Joanne grew up in Piscataway, NJ, where she studied accounting and worked as part of the finance team for Chanel for 25 years before relocating to the Fredericksburg area 10 years ago.
Joanne is married to David Biddulph, the practice’s manager and Dr. Biddulph’s brother, and they have two children.
Nurse
Tammy is a Board Certified Nursing Assistant with 26 years of experience. She first began working in the orthopedic field in 1994. She started working with Dr. Biddulph in 1999 when he came to Virginia. She enjoys her job working with the team at OCCV and loves learning about orthopedics from Dr. Biddulph. She enjoys getting to know her patients and helping them feel better. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her family.
